For the time being, the only race offered at chargen is Human. Other races will be considered on a case by case basis but since our storyline deals mainly with Hogwarts, we would like each person to have a character that fits in to the school directly (ie student or teacher) before taking on a character of another race. After you have played for several weeks, if you wish to create an alt that is some other canon race, feel free to fill out an application. However, keep in mind, the races most likely to be approved will be humanoid. A merperson would not be likely to get much RP since most of our characters would not be spending a whole lot of time in the lake.
Exceptions to this are short term characters, those created for a specific plot line which will leave after that is accomplished. In some cases we will suggest using a puppeted object, in other cases an alt will be approved. |
