invade
you invade my mind
a pleasant infiltration of smiles
and starry eyed remembrances
a hint of melancholy for what was lost
but each image lends a taint of happiness to an otherwise dreary adultdom
where are you now
do you still smile with mischief
or have you darkened into a mature image of yourself

even that thought brings a wry smile for such a thing could never be
