April is a month
but she once was a friend
and she'll never get to read this
unless the fates are kind
i dreampt i spoke with your mom
and she said you were doing well
and that i should call you
i shrugged it off
and didn't mention that i didn't have your number
and was pretty certain that you wouldn't want to hear from me
do you really believe i'd judge you like that?
is that what made you walk away
i hope things are going well
that this one is as wonderful as you believe him to be
as you deserve him to be
did you know...
i still have your drum sticks...
