Wow! My roses have bloomed
Drops of dew and rain spangle the vivid lemon hues and deep lime tones
Flower opens to the fresh-washed air and spreads petals to the sun-drenched sky
Bud nestles within secure confines and awaits its turn at blossoming
Thorns hide amidst the new leaves a hint at the pain that is evident amidst the beauty that is life
