once i wrote of beauty
but now shadows lurk round
every corner
like the shadows in your eyes
grey clouds that hint at ice and snow
bitter cold warmed only by your touch
how can it be that the bearer of my torment
is at once the bringer of my peace?
peace at what cost?
opposite poles
how can it be?
