beloved rends my soul
am i who i thought to be
the child freed
walks astray
without excuse
is my will so frail
or strong
i fear the answer
are those years a lie?
the monster unleashed
what have you done to me?
or are you my excuse?
the angel fallen
shrieking to earth
a mortal soul endangered
no.. for though i know it true
the trap seems more to be desired
bourne aloft by ecstasy
oh beloved illusion
