disillusionment
The illusion has been rent from my eyes
even if nothing i suspect comes true
neither will anything that i dream
i am condemned to this half-life
always wanting
never fulfilled
never finding
i am haunted by the ghost of never can be
and i think now is the time to send it to its grave
