Absence
There is a space
an absence
routine moves as always
day merges into day
with no ill effect
just a sense of loss
a sign
a motion
the hint
of presence in absence
the tingle of gaze meeting gaze
when no one else is present
the sense of a caress is felt
when absolutely alone
